Thanksgiving Special

This coming Saturday we’ll play a 500 point Golden with two special rules:

1. No theme bonuses will be allowed. Powers etcetera that function off of keyword are fine.

2. In honor of Thanksgiving and the effects of too much turkey, any attack using Incap gets a +1 to the attack value.

Practice match,  need to tweak our teams a little.

Here is my weekly team report.

600 point golden age team played on Nov 20th.  This team was not bad, and was 2-1.  One was from a forfeit, but .......  It was fun to play and Imperiex is tough, with a few boosts to his defense.

I went 2-1.

The Fantastic Four team I used was very good, with some interesting abilities.  The Thing has the ability to remove action tokens from up to 2 adjacent figures.  Mr. Fantastic can use perplex and modify any combat value + or - 2.  Bombastic Bagman will deal damage equal to the damage he takes.  Storm can add +1 to range and damage.  And if any of the Fantastic Four is KOed, you can heal any figure using that team ability 1 click of health.

So the sum of these figures used together is more then if used as individuals.

Upcoming 1000 point silver age team.  Hmmmmm.  Andrew has a great team and I have nothing.  My team has changed 5 times in the past 2 days and I hope by 5 pm today I can come up with something.  I have thought about Herald Theme, X-Force theme, Animals, brute, X-Men, and cosmic.  Each team would be a blast to play and when I finally decide on which team to play I will post it, and include a video review.

On a related note, Ryan (a local player) has been talking about expanding the stuff he and I do on YouTube.  He actually was the one who got me interested in doing YouTube vids.
